Anna Tetruashvili is an emerging Israeli lyric mezzo soprano, currently undergoing her second season of training in the opera studio of Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, Germany (2023/2025). Tetruashvili made her debut at the Whitsun Salzburg Festival in May 2024 with the role of Annio in La Clemenza di Tito, conducted by Gianluca Capuano and directed by Robert Carsen. Performing alongside Cecilia Bartoli, Daniel Behle, Mélissa Petit and Ildebrando D’arcangelo, she was named as one of “5 Breakout Artists From Classical Music’s Most Prestigious Festival” by The New York Times in August 2024: “…Tetruashvili […] persuasively shifted from one feeling to the next, with a tone that was unwaveringly beautiful, and at times startlingly fierce…” 

Tetruashvili’s early career saw her perform key roles like Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte, and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore while she was a member of the Tbilisi Conservatory’s opera studio.
